Charter & Policies Please Read Our Charter, Before Applying for Membership

[top]Basic Rules
  • The person who tracks the EPGP data should be detail-oriented to provide the highest level of accuracy possible
  • MUST use EPGP Tracker
  • MUST submit EPGP information publicly in the event thread, and use the tracker program to generate the code (no "naratives" please)
  • Attendees with questions about the EPGP should contact the EPGP Bookkeeper, NOT the person who entered it
  • Any changes to the event's EPGP data should be publicly posted in a new reply to the event thread. This "bumps" the thread so that the change is noticed!

[top]While Inviting Members to Raid

Open the EPGP Tracker Program and use the Event drop-down to choose the appropriate range of bosses. Click the Roster button. Add members by check-boxing their names, or using the Lookup button to type in names.

[top]During the Raid

Use the Attempts field and Defeated check-box for each boss to indicate the total number of attempts and if the boss was defeated.

When a member receives an item, select the item from the drop-down list. If the item is not listed, you may manually fill in the required fields. GP values will be calculated for you.

[top]All-Kinship Raids

Assuming that this event meets the requirements, these raids are eligible for EPGP. The smoothest way to get through loot is:
  • Link all Teal and above items to the /raid chat
  • Link the first item into chat and ask for members to type "Me" in raid chat if they would be interested in the item for GP.
  • Reference the EPGP program (attendees are sorted by Priority), and ask the firsteligible person on the list if they would like the item.
  • Once the member confirms, use the item drop-down to choose the item.
  • Continue through the items until they have all been distributed.

[top]Raids Including PuG Members

Remember that there can only be 1 PuG member per group for the raid to still use EPGP. If there is more than one PuG member, let the raid know that the boss is not eligible for EPGP, and distribute items via /roll. Please DO NOT put /roll items into the tracker

If the PuG raid is eligible for EPGP, please make sure that the PuG members know about our loot rules and agree to them before inviting them to the raid! The simplest say to explain it might be something like this:
"For each boss, the raid /rolls 100. Then we look at how many items drop. If 3 items drop, the top 3 rolls are considered. If a you or another PuG member is in those top 3, then the items are distributed via the rolls. If a PuG member is not in those top 3, then we use our internal system to distribute the items."
When the time comes, the smoothest way to get through loot is to do the following:
  • Link all items to /raid chat. Ask anyone who is interested in any of the items to /roll 100.
  • Depending on how many items there are, you will consider the top X number of rolls. If 4 items drop, consider the top 4 rollers. If 2 items drop, consider the top 2 rollers.
  • If a PuG member is on that top list, all of the items are distributed via /roll. Ask the top roller which item they want, and continue down until all items have been distributed. Don't use the EPGP Tracker to count the boss or the items received.
  • If there are no PuG members in that top roller list, then the items are distributed via normal EPGP, as if the raid were an all-Kin raid (PuG members are ineligible for items for this boss).

[top]After the Raid

Please post all needed EPGP information in the event thread. This can be found on the Summary tab, and can be automatically copied to your clipboard by using the Copy button.

The excel spreadsheet has a nifty "Generate Data" button that (almost) instantly gets the data to paste into your event thread! Please use it, or read the manual instructions above the red box.

Remember that the data isn't entered in automatically. It is a manual process. We appreciate your patience with us!
