| Charter & Policies Please Read Our Charter, Before Applying for Membership |

|
This Charter should be read and understood by all members, don't hesitate to contact leadership with any questions.
[top]Founding VisionGrace of the Valar is a Lord of the Rings Online kinship on the Landroval server. It was founded on October 2, 2007 by Maighdeann and Aruen. Their vision was for it to become one of the most established, successful and respected end-game focused kinships. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our members we've managed to achieve it; however, we wish to make it clear their motivation comes from their own enjoyment of the game and sense of pride in our kinship, rather than the sort of pressure often found in more "hardcore" kinships. While many of us have become good friends adventuring together in Middle-earth the past two and half years, we understand this is just a game, and we all have more important responsibilities and commitments. To help our members better enjoy their time spent with friends in-game, the Founders have put a great deal into providing the best resources available outside of the game and maintaining a well-organized and respectful environment.
[top]Organization[top]LeadershipThe Founders are responsible for raid coordination and scheduling, recruitment, guild policy and representing the Kinship on all fronts. It is their duty to appoint qualified Officers and, with their input, determine the direction of the Kinship. Officers assist with some of the day to day responsibilities of leadership and with enforcing Kinship policy. They may not deviate from official policy or enforce rules not explicitly mentioned. In addition to that, the Senior Officer is second in command to the Founders and leader in their absence.
[top]MembershipOur members are mature, organized, highly dedicated, extremely skillful and adventurous. They share more in common than a Kinship tag – they are friends and hunting partners.
[top]Code of ConductMembers must adhere to the following:
