We'd like to thank everyone who has been a part of Grace of the Valar over the past 4 years. No matter how significant your involvement was, it has meant a lot to us. We've enjoyed the many adventures we've shared with you in Middle-earth and will cherish those memories for a lifetime.

We understand that not all of you know us personally, but we hope our intentions were at least clear to everyone and it was evident how much we dearly loved this kinship after years of nurturing it with our time, energy, and personal finances and that we continued to do so even after stepping back from the game. Unfortunately, despite our best intentions and efforts to empower members to be the driving force behind the kinship, members were apparently unable or unwilling to pick up the duties we set aside for them.

We have rethought about our continued support and how we allocate our limited resouces to hobbies and interests we share. The GotV website will eventually be taken down, and the current "inactive" state of the in-game kinship will be permanent.

We sincerely hope those special people whom we've come to call "friends" will keep in touch with us through facebook or our future endeavors in Rift (www.vigilanceonline.net), Guild Wars 2 and possibly Star Wars: The Old Republic. We expect to continue to play MMOs for many years to come.

For those who do not wish to stay in contact with us, we sincerely wish you many fun adventures in Middle-earth!
